Welcome to Sipzee. These Terms and Conditions govern entities such as charities, fundraisers, or businesses (collectively referred to as “Donation Organizations”) that register with Sipzee to receive donations from proceeds generated through the Sipzee Platform.
Donation Organizations must register with Sipzee, providing necessary details including organization name, contact information, preferred payment method, and associated zip codes. By registering, you confirm authorization to bind the Donation Organization to these terms.
When Sipzee recyclers collect cans & bottles, and customers elect to donate, the designated donation proceeds trigger payment to the Donation Organization.
Payment Distribution (Example): For example, when someone uses the Sipzee app to recycle 600 cans & bottles ($60 value) and selects the donation option, the payment breakdown is as follows: 50% (or $30.00) minus Process Fees to the Donation Organization, 40% (or $24.00) to the Sipzee Returner, and 10% (or $6.00) to Sipzee. Please note, these percentages are illustrative and subject to change.
Payment Method Flexibility: Donation Organizations will receive payments via their selected method (digital check, mailed check, or ACH transfer).
Processing Fees: Sipzee uses Credit Card Processing and Check Writing services for receiving/sending payments. The cost of these fees are deducted from the amount sent to the Donation Organization. We do not mark them up in any way.
Donation Organizations agree to utilize the funds in alignment with their stated mission. Sipzee does not monitor the use of these funds.
Funds not deposited within 30 days from issuance will be deemed expired and retained by Sipzee.
Donation Organizations must periodically revalidate their engagement with Sipzee. Failure to revalidate may result in the expiration of their registration and removal as a donation option on the Sipzee platform.
Sipzee is not liable for any claims or liabilities arising from the actions or inactions of Donation Organizations.
Donation Organizations indemnify Sipzee against any claims related to their participation.
Donation Organizations are permitted to promote Sipzee to their supporters. However, Sipzee reserves the right to request the cessation of any promotional method or material that it deems inappropriate or not aligned with its brand values.
Sipzee reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions. Continued participation signifies acceptance of new terms.
Sipzee may terminate a Donation Organization’s participation for breach of these Terms or other reasons at its discretion.
These Terms are governed by Michigan law. Disputes are resolved through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules.
